Apple rumours suggest tech firm is planning an Amazon Echo-style gadget with a camera which can recognise your face

APPLE has created an Amazon Echo-style voice activated gadget, it has been claimed.

A serial leakster has suggested he’s seen designs for a device that’s a possible rival toGoogle Home and Amazon Echo.

Leakster Sonny Dickson said an Apple insider claimed the new device will look ‘fat’ like Google Home

In September 2016, Bloomberg reported that Apple was working on a smart home device which would ship with facial recognition cameras.

And now Sonny Dickson, who is famed for leaking gadgets and gizmos while they are still in development, said Apple is currently finalising designs for their Echo competitor.

“It’s expected to be marketed as a Siri or AirPlay device,” he said.

It’s likely to be in the style of the Mac Pro and have boom mesh around the speakers.
